A clash between Sultan and Shahid Khan leads to the expulsion of Khan from Wasseypur, and ignites a deadly blood feud spanning three generations.
Shahid Khan is exiled after impersonating the legendary Sultana Daku in order to rob British trains. Now outcast, Shahid becomes a worker at Ramadhir Singh's colliery, only to spur a revenge battle that passes on to generations. At the turn of the decade, Shahid's son, the philandering Sardar Khan vows to get his father's honor back, becoming the most feared man of Wasseypur.
Gangs of V&#39;pur,the much hyped movie, could not do justice with the expectations. Looking at the trailer, it seemed a must see movie, but all hopes turned negative in the first half of the movie itself.<br/><br/>The idea, no doubt is superb, but the film is not well directed. Rather, i would say there are several loose points throughout the movie and you feel like as the film is being dragged unnecessarily. Then follows the confusion of so many names while narration. It does not help viewers readily connect and brings uncomfortable feeling to understand the movie. The cinematography is great. The locations chosen give the real feeling of coal mines at jharkhand.<br/><br/>When in interval, you get to know there will be a sequel to it, it is all frustrating. One whole song is devoted to the dying of manoj bajpayee which is funny. Attention seems to have been given to extra marital affairs.<br/><br/>Plus, where are the Gangs?? It&#39;s only Manoj Bajpayee from the Pathan sect? No any strong image countering Bajpayee. It becomes all messy by the time the first part of the movie ends.<br/><br/>I wont suggest people to go for this movie with high expectations. If you expect 10, I bet the movie wont give you even 5. Choice is yours..<br/><br/>There cannot be any comparison with Jha&#39;s Gangaajal.. In front of Gangaajal, this movie turns out to be a dwarf.
No doubt it best movie in Indian history N o useless drama but only reality the true face and atmospheric of criminal clash Mr.Anurag had done his best to selection of actors, I was so wondered how can any one make such a realistic movie. Any role of any actor in this movie had got the maximum contract in it that had been ever seen in Indian cinema. Well i can only say this<br/><br/>&quot;jeetni Bi tariff Ki jay woo km hi&quot; This is my best Hindi(Indian) movie.<br/><br/>I am waiting for Mr.Anurag sir to make a classic movie like this one more time.
